‘High Resolves is a not-for-profit, non-religious educational
initiative that assists schools to help high school students develop the direction,
capability and confidence to succeed in the 21st century.’
Some students from Year 9 are currently taking
part in a two-year High Resolves Global Leadership Program. In this program,
students are taught many aspects of Leadership; from social justice to
equality, and from working together to negotiating. As part of this program the
Year 9 High Resolves team has a School Action Project in which they take action
to initiate change within the school. As a group, the Year 9 High Resolves team
has chosen the issue of ‘Uniting Students’ and have planned actions in order to
achieve this goal.
